MoveMove ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered coaching platform that connects fitness and wellness coaches with their clients. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using MoveMove you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information we collect automatically, and information from third-party integrations you choose to connect.
- Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), profile photo, and authentication identifiers from third-party providers (Google, Apple).
- Health and fitness data: weight, body composition, workouts, sleep, steps, mindfulness minutes, heart rate, and other metrics from connected services such as Apple Health (and in the future Polar, Oura, Garmin, Fitbit, Strava).
- Coaching content: training plans, diet plans, meals, ingredients, notes, check-ins, photos, videos, and chat messages exchanged between coaches and clients.
- Communication data: emails, in-app messages, and support requests.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device information, log data, and analytics events necessary to operate and improve the service.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the MoveMove platform
- To deliver personalised AI-driven coaching insights, training plans, and nutrition recommendations
- To enable communication between coaches and their clients
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, invites, check-in reminders, billing receipts)
- To improve, troubleshoot, and secure the service
- To comply with legal obligations
4. AI processing
MoveMove uses large language models from third-party providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) to generate coaching suggestions, plan drafts, and chat responses. When you use AI-powered features, the relevant context (your profile, biometrics, recent workouts, or chat content) is sent to the model provider for processing. We do not allow these providers to train their general models on your data.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only as described below:
- With your coach (or client): if you are a client, your linked coach can see the data you share with them through MoveMove (profile, health data, check-ins, chat, photos). If you are a coach, your clients can see information you share with them (training plans, diet plans, messages).
- Service providers: we use trusted third parties to host and operate MoveMove, including Firebase (Google), Supabase, Vercel, Stripe (billing), Resend (email), and AI providers listed above.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of MoveMove, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained longer when required by law (e.g. tax records) or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing

8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you in the event of a breach affecting your personal information.
9. Children
MoveMove is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International data transfers
MoveMove is operated globally and your data may be processed in countries outside your home jurisdiction, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards to protect your data during international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of MoveMove after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
